Benro BV8 Dual Stage Video Tripod Kit
Benro has somewhat supplanted Manfrotto as the prosumer tripod king. The BV8 tripod holds up to 17.6 pounds of weight making it capable of supporting almost any camera rig in Nashville. It is super smooth and feels durable when using. What we personally love about it is the 5-step counter balance which makes it really easy to dial in resistance to counterbalance varying cameras. Additionally the BV8 can be put into a ‘hi-hat’ mode for ultra low angles.
We would not recommend using it to support a jib or something other than a camera rig. For those jobs, try the 510 100mm Manfrotto tripod.
