Autopoles or Varipoles are used in grip packages for a variety of reasons, but are typically found on home renovation television sets for the purpose of holding lights. These are perfect for floor to ceiling mounting (vertical) and hallways (horizontal). Use them to tuck lights into tight corners. If you’re using them on a white surface such as white painted drywall, make sure to use a rag or paper towel so they don’t leave black scuff marks.
